Q&A

Q: Why is the translation and the edit 
   sometimes so different?

A: The easy answer is: Different translator, 
   different translation.
   It's actually a difference in language.  While
   a line might make sense in English the way I 
   translated it, it's probably not the way native
   English speakers would say it (or the character),
   which is why I have an editor.


Q: Why all the "DO NOT DISTRIBUTE" and no scanlation
   stuff?

A: Simply, I like the work that Kaiten Rusu does, 
   and I don't want her to get pissy about American
   fans ripping off her work.

   Japanese artists are getting very sensitive 
   about foreigners stealing their work.
   It's gotten so bad that there is a movement, 
   the Online Fanarts Protection (http://www3.to/ofp), 
   to both help stop and to promote awareness of the 
   problem to foreigners.
